Avril Hinch

Hi, I’m Avril. I live in the same area of Co Dublin that I grew up in. My professional experience has mainly been in Childcare and I continue to work in this area part time.  I completed a diploma in Counselling Psychotherapy. and I am an Accredited Member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I am working as a therapist and I am passionate about helping women who are in crisis and are looking for support.

When I was in my twenties, I had a crisis pregnancy. My story is a little complicated, but the choice I made was to terminate. This went against every thing I believed in and it remained a secret for many years. I never imagined myself talking about it until I became involved in Zoe Community. Once I shared my biggest secret I was met with kindness and compassion but above all no judgement.
I am no longer ashamed and I no longer punish myself for my decision. I walk in freedom in Christ.
This is why I am so honoured and blessed to be working with Zoe Community and what it represents.
I am an active member of my local church where I serve on the worship team.
